Projects seeking collaborators

A fine-art nude series set inside aging motor hotels and roadside motels, using dated interiors as both setting and psychological landscape. Wood paneling, floral bedspreads, faded carpet, old televisions, bathroom mirrors, patterned curtains, neon leaking through blinds, and parking-lot light create a world that feels suspended somewhere between the 1960s and 1980s.

The visual reference is vintage erotic photography without becoming literal or overly posed: warm grain, direct flash mixed with available tungsten light, imperfect framing, reflections, partially obscured bodies, and photographs that sometimes feel discovered rather than constructed. The model can move between confidence, boredom, solitude, playfulness, and self-possession. Details of the room should be photographed alongside the figure so that the motel itself becomes a second character.

Core idea: A temporary room becomes a private stage for sexuality, nostalgia, loneliness, and self-invention.

This series removes almost everything except body, landscape, light, and texture. Rather than treating the nude as a figure simply placed in beautiful scenery, photograph the body as another natural form—folding into rock formations, disappearing into tall grass, lying against earth, entering water, or becoming a small human presence within an enormous landscape.

The photographs could alternate between expansive environmental portraits and very close studies where skin, stone, bark, sand, water, and vegetation become visually ambiguous. Early morning, late afternoon, mist, overcast skies, and changing seasons could give the project a quieter, almost elemental quality.

Avoid conventional “goddess in nature” posing. Let the body be awkward, vulnerable, strong, curled, stretched, dirty, wet, cold, or completely still. The tension comes from seeing a human body without the architecture and social signals that normally surround nudity.

Core idea: The nude is not separate from the landscape; the body temporarily becomes part of it.

The third project shifts authorship toward the model. Instead of beginning with poses or a predetermined visual concept, each session begins with a conversation: What does she want to express today, and what does that feeling look like physically?

She might choose words such as anger, freedom, grief, sensuality, exhaustion, confidence, isolation, softness, defiance, or transformation. Those feelings determine movement, posture, environment, lighting, distance from the camera, and how much of herself she wants to reveal. Some photographs might be confrontational and direct; others could obscure the face, fragment the body, use motion blur, or reduce the figure almost to abstraction.

Consider incorporating her own handwritten words or short statements alongside selected photographs. That makes the project less about a photographer interpreting a nude model and more about two people creating a visual vocabulary for how she experiences herself.

Core idea: The model isn't simply the subject of the nude; she determines what the nude is being used to say.
